In the early 1982 started my adventure with yacht design and construction.
I was, as we still are, in Viareggio, the heart of the Italian yacht building / yacht refitting industry.
At that time I was at Benetti, the well know leading yacht builder; in the very beginning as chief of the design department; Technical Manager after few years of experience and hard work both within the Design Department and on the construction slipways.

The shipyard was a great learning opportunity, mainly if you were asked, as it daily happened in the “under–structured” realities of mid eighties, to design and build at the same time; or to budget and sea trial your designs; or to take care of the head–breaking post-delivery problems of some yachts while the design of new models / prototypes was challenging your skills in the attempt of modernizing and up-grading  the construction techniques or the design concepts.

Viareggio was only the start of the “move”; meaning that as soon as I decided to “walk” on my own, also as a result of the high level of experience and reputation achieved through my background at Benetti, I started working as a free-lance further to having organized a design / consultancy studio with a team of motivated younger colleagues.

I started working on several projects involving many Clients from abroad or other countries shipyards. The east Mediterranean, especially Turkey and Greece, the middle-east, amongst the others Kuwait and the Emirates, the South-France and Spain and more recently, the Northern Europe (Holland, Scotland, England) have been the background in which I myself and my team have operated with satisfaction and success in designing, building and supervising.

In the last few years, as a result of the ever increasing level of conflict found in the yacht business or due to the growing number of marine casualties involving yachts, our range of activities has started to incorporate the appraisals / valuations for Court proceedings and the marine casualties investigations.

 I myself and my motivated colleagues, we all have clear in mind the priorities of our Clients, be them Shipyards or private yacht owners. Above all we realize that knowledge, straightforwardness, professionality and efficiency are at the top of the list with  a leading position to be given to the love for the boats and the sea.
